Om appen

Rooktick turns your iPhone or iPad into a tournament chess clock, and keeps the score while you play.

THE CLOCK • Bullet, blitz, rapid and classical presets, or create your own time control • Fischer increment, Bronstein delay and simple delay • Multi-stage tournament controls, such as 40 moves in 2 hours followed by 60 minutes • Byo-yomi for Go and overtime for Scrabble • Large, clear clock faces in portrait and landscape • Low-time warnings, spoken times and a countdown of the last ten seconds • A crisp click on every press, like a real tournament clock • Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island • Undo a mistaken press, pause, or adjust the time like an arbiter

RECORD YOUR MOVES • Enter each move in a tap: the likeliest moves are suggested • Or leave recording off and add the moves after the game • Name the game and the players • Your last 10 games are always saved

PRO FEATURES • Scan paper scoresheets: take a photo and every move is read on your device and checked against the rules • Export PGN with the clock time of every move, ready for any chess app or website • See where the time went: seconds per move for both sides • Your whole game history • More clock themes, or make your own from any two colours
