Av Gobling Company · Musik och ljudDärför förväntar vi oss mycket av den: Focused ear training with adaptive drills and a privacy-first design makes it promising for musicians.
Kort sagt
EarBench is an ear training app for musicians that plays two synthesized notes and asks you to identify the interval between them, from minor second to octave. It builds 12-question practice sets, adapts toward intervals you have missed, and includes a Contrast Lab for drilling close pairs such as minor versus major thirds. Its Journal tracks results per interval and exports answer history as CSV.

EarBench is a focused listening room for musicians. Hear two locally synthesized notes and identify the space between them, from minor second to octave. Replay as often as you need, then see the answer, note names, semitone distance, and a short listening cue.
Build a 12-question practice set from the intervals you choose. Switch between melodic and harmonic playback and include descending questions. Questions adapt toward intervals you have missed, so a weak spot gets another chance.
Contrast Lab turns your real mix-ups into two-interval drills. Start with classic close pairs such as minor versus major thirds, fourths versus fifths, and minor versus major sixths. The Journal tracks correct and heard counts per interval and can export your own answer history as CSV.
EarBench is paid once. Practice tones and history stay on your Mac. No account, microphone recording, subscription, ads, analytics, tracking, or server upload. Headphones or speakers are recommended.
