Memento Muscae

Every fly has last words.

Memento Muscae is a fast, silly tapping game with a philosophical twist. Swat as many flies as you can in 20 seconds. As each one meets its end, it shares a final thought from history's great minds: Nietzsche, Seneca, Shakespeare, Confucius, Emily Dickinson, Mark Twain and more than 160 others.

Then it keels over, and its little ghost floats away wearing a halo.

"Then am I a happy fly, if I live, or if I die." — William Blake

The swatter never tires, learns from every miss, and gets a little better each round. The flies, meanwhile, wrote the poems, asked the big questions and left the last words. They had a good run.

Remember the fly.
