Ropework

Ropework is three arcade games held together by one rope.

1- GRAPPLE : Hold to fire, release to fly. Swing roof to roof, mast to pole, across an endless city whose sky turns from sunset to night to dawn as you go. Every gap can be crossed; the rest is your timing. Gather the seven chakras for another life.

2- WRECK: Take the wrecking ball in your hand, carry it up and let it go. Swing it into the block, lift it and drop it through the roof, and bring the building down floor by floor. Never touch the houses next door.

3- RESCUE: A living ship lowers its tendril over history's great disasters. People climb on and hold each other's ankles, a human chain that swings with every move you make. Rain, wind and speed loosen their grip. And an old voice tells you what it saw: someone older than the rivers, who was there every night.

The Deluge of Shuruppak, Deucalion's flood, the Great Fire of Rome, Vesuvius, the Lisbon earthquake, the Yellow River, Johnstown and the Mississippi in 1927: travel through them in order, chapter by chapter, and find the relics lost on the rooftops.
