StepIsland turns your daily steps into a little world that comes alive as you walk. Choose one of six hand-painted worlds — Coral Meadow, Sakura Grove, Sprout Valley, Canyon Oasis, Rainy Stones or Moonlit Forest — and meet the companion who lives there. Set a goal that suits you, make a promise, and every step you take brings your world to life.

WALK WITH FRIENDS Add friends with a code, see this week's board and send kudos when they hit their goal. Invite a friend to walk together and see both of your steps live, side by side, even when you're miles apart. For each walk you can choose to share your route with that friend; it's deleted the moment the walk ends.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN StepIsland only reads your step count from Apple Health, never workouts or medical data. Your location is only used if you turn on route sharing during a walk with a friend. Distance, time and energy are simple estimates from your steps.
