Svalk

How's the water where you bathe, right now?

Svalk shows the water temperature at your bathing spot all year, logs every dip, and lets a buddy know if you don't get out in time. Summer swim or winter dip: Svalk is with you all year.

WATER TEMPERATURE • The water temperature at your spot right now, from MET Norway's ocean model • Air temperature, wind and how cold it feels • The water forecast for the next 24 hours – and the whole week with Svalk+ • Add your own thermometer reading – it shows instead of the estimate

DIP LOG • Log a dip in two taps: time in the water, water temperature and sauna • Weekly streak, dips this season and your coldest dip • Save your dips to Apple Health as workouts

SEASON PLAN • Pick your goal and days, and Svalk plans your season – winter or summer • See how many dips are left – and when the next one is

GROUPS AND LEADERBOARDS • Start a group with friends, your club or your workplace, and share the code • See who dips most often: dips, streak, days and earliest dip • Free for everyone. Only your name and season numbers are shared

SAFETY BUDDY • Start a check-in before you go in • If you don't check out in time, your buddy gets a text message • Svalk is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

FREE AND SVALK+ Free: the water temperature at your home spot, the dip log, your streak and Apple Health. Svalk+: the forecast for the whole week, the water temperature on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, safety buddy check-ins, week-by-week season stats and more spots. Try it free for 7 days.

Over 3,000 bathing spots in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Water data from MET Norway, CC BY 4.0. Temperatures are estimates, and lakes have no water model.
