Cartovo Box Patterns

Cartovo is an offline box-pattern workshop for iPhone and iPad. Turn fold-line dimensions into original flat patterns, keep variations and take real printable and vector files.

THREE CONSTRUCTIONS Create a glue-corner tray with a separate lid, a rectangular sleeve or a straight tuck carton. Inspect continuous cut lines, dashed score lines and marked glue tabs. Adjust length, width, height and glue; trays also offer manual lid clearance and lid height.

REUSE DIMENSIONS Keep 24 local projects and 12 named dimension variants per project. Rename, duplicate, delete, add notes, undo and redo edits. Import a Cartovo JSON backup to restore the complete editable project, paper settings and variants. Normal first launch is empty; an optional original Gift carton study is editable.

PRINT AT ACTUAL SIZE Choose A4 or US Letter, portrait or landscape, 8–25 mm margins and 3–15 mm overlap. Preview tile coverage. Export a PDF with overview, numbered actual-size tiles, registration marks, coordinate origins and a 25 mm calibration ruler. Print at 100% and verify the ruler before assembly. Batch the current dimensions and saved variants into up to 100 PDF pages.

TAKE REAL FILES Share separate SVG files with cuts and scores groups and millimetre root units, coordinate CSV, a geometric JSON record, a full restorable JSON backup and PDF in one ZIP. Preview the real PDF inside the app. Native Files import and sharing keep the work under your control.

GEOMETRIC LIMITS Length 20–300 mm, width 20–250 mm, height 5–100 mm. Additional geometry limits are validated before saving. Inputs are fold-line dimensions, not certified inside capacity. There is no stock thickness compensation, cutter compatibility or physical-fit certification. Lid clearance is manual. Make a paper prototype with your own stock. No artwork placement, 3D CAD, image generation or commercial template library.
