About

Eduard Horvat, an internist from Dubrava in Zagreb, has just finished a 24-hour shift. He wants only one thing: sleep. Then he finds an envelope from his late father under the door. Inside: a key, a letter and a cassette tape.

So begins Eduard: Centrum Mundi, a comic point-and-click adventure about wine, family and a small town that claims to be the centre of the world.

THE STORY Dad's cottage in the vineyards near Ludbreg hides more than Edi expects. A white van drives empty bottles out of Zagreb every night, golden labels promise Istrian wine, and the castle on the label doesn't exist. From a Zagreb tram turnaround through the vineyards of Podravina to the old town of Rovinj and back, Edi pieces together his father's clues: cassettes, drawings, Roman numerals and an old sundial.

WHAT AWAITS YOU • Hand-painted scenes: Zagreb, Ludbreg, Rovinj, vineyards, taverns and a cave beneath the sea • Puzzles with items, codes, maps and a Roman sundial • Unforgettable characters: neighbour Anka and her blood pressure, Auntie Barica and her strudel, Jura the watchman who speaks in three words, the Tikvić brothers, Lorena the sommelier… • Warm Croatian humour, and Edi diagnoses everything, people and wine alike • Fully voiced in English and Croatian • Hints from the light bulb whenever you get stuck • Simple controls: tap, drag an item from the bag, combine
