Memory Magazine: Scrapbook
Not claimedSome weekends deserve a cover story
By Mubarak Almahmeed · Photo and videoWhy we expect it: A thoughtful photo-magazine app with careful export checks, privacy-minded sharing and a clear, charming value proposition makes it a strong debut.
About
Some weekends deserve a cover story. Memory Magazine shapes your own photos and words into a slim little magazine: a cover, an opening, the moments in between and a closing thought. You pick every picture and write every line, then print it from a PDF or share the pages as images.
A STORY IN FIVE PAGES • Begin with a guided five-page story, then make each page your own. • Pull in still images with the Photos or Files picker. Memory Magazine edits optimized copies and leaves your originals as they were. • Add a title and captions, switch layouts and colors, crop and rotate. • Lift a subject off its background with an on-device cutout suggestion, then refine the edge by hand with Erase and Restore. • Jot private notes for yourself. They stay off the pages you share.
NOTHING CUT SHORT Memory Magazine never silently trims, shrinks or drops your words. Before anything leaves the app, Check export points out captions that don't fit, empty image spots and photos that may print soft at your chosen size, so you can fix them first.
READ IT LIKE A MAGAZINE The cover stands alone, and with your phone turned sideways the pages after it open in facing pairs. Accessible reading brings your text and the image descriptions you wrote together in one plain view.
PRINT IT OR PASS IT ON • A PDF fitted to A5, A4 or Letter-size paper, for your own printer or a print shop of your choosing. • PNG or JPEG pages at 1080 × 1350 or 2160 × 2700 pixels, with an ordered ZIP and optional contact sheets for multi-page sets. • Preview the real file before it goes to Files or anyone else. • Shared pages leave out private notes, photo areas hidden by your crop or cutout, and the original photo metadata.
KEEP IT EDITABLE Save a private .memorymag backup holding your pages, photos, cutouts and notes, and restore it later as a separate copy in Archive. There is no built-in cloud sync, so tuck a backup somewhere safe before you switch phones or remove the app. Memory Magazine does not encrypt backups, so hand them only to people you trust.
WITHOUT PRO, AND WITH IT Without Pro you can keep two active magazines of up to eight pages each, with the Weekend Editorial style, the core editing tools, every export format and editable backups, and no watermark. Archive a magazine whenever you want room for the next one. You buy Memory Magazine Pro once; there is no subscription. Pro makes room for 50 active magazines of up to 40 pages, opens all three original styles and adds saved style presets of your own. If Pro access ever changes, everything you made stays yours to open, edit and export.
MADE ON YOUR PHONE, KEPT ON YOUR PHONE Memory Magazine asks for no account, shows no ads and sends nothing to a cloud AI. Once your photos are in, editing and rendering happen on the device. Fetching a picture from a cloud photo library, buying Pro or sharing a file may use a connection.
