Timestamp Camera: GPS & Date

Stamp the time, the date and the place onto every photo and video, right as you shoot.

Timestamp Camera writes the details into the picture itself. Time, date, street address, a small map, GPS coordinates, compass bearing and altitude — burned into the photo or video the moment you capture it. Nothing to add afterwards, nothing to explain later. The photo says when and where it was taken.

THE STAMP

Build the stamp you need and watch it live over the camera:

* Time — automatic, 24-hour or 12-hour, with or without seconds, in any time zone * Date, in your phone's own format * Street address, short or full * A small map, in standard, satellite or hybrid * GPS coordinates in decimal, degrees-minutes-seconds or signed format * Compass bearing, true north or magnetic * Altitude, in feet or meters * Your own note — a job number, an address, a unit, whatever the photo is for * Your company name, email, website and logo

Show only the lines you want, pick a compact corner layout or a bar across the top, and set the text size and the background strength. Dates and units follow your phone's language and region.

PIN A LOCATION

GPS drifts indoors and between tall buildings. Drag the map under the crosshair, lock the spot, and every capture is stamped with that address instead of the live reading.

PHOTO AND VIDEO

* Photo and video modes, with .5x, 1x, 2x and 3x lens buttons plus pinch to zoom * Tap to focus, flash and torch, front and rear cameras * Rule-of-thirds grid and a level guide for square shots * HD 30, HD 60 and 4K 30 video * Photos saved as JPG or HEIC; video as H.264, or HEVC at 4K * The stamp is drawn into every single video frame, not just the first one

SAVED WITH THE DETAILS INTACT

Captures carry the real data, not just the visible stamp. Photos keep the camera's EXIF plus GPS coordinates, heading and your note. Videos carry location and capture date in their metadata. Everything lands in the in-app library and, if you want, in your Photos app too. Turn on "save original photo" and you also get a clean unstamped copy.
