On-device face detection quietly dials grain back in facial regions so people don't get sandpaper skin. No user action required.

Each look has its own tuning. Color negative grain is finer and warmer than slide-film grain. Black-and-white looks push halation less. Cinema looks lean into tungsten blues and warm highlights. Craft-work, not templates.
