[base]

[base] is a companion for inner practice — meditation, breathwork, reflection, movement — built around two sittings a day, bridged by sleep.

In the evening you tend: a quiet check-in on how practice is going, a note of gratitude, and a moment to set up tomorrow morning. Then you rest.

In the morning you anchor. The alarm doesn't pull you out of sleep and leave you there — it wakes you into the practice you already chose, so the first decision of your day is one you made last night.

THE ALARM The reason [base] is a native app. It's scheduled by the operating system on your device, so it rings even with no signal, and it comes through Silent and Focus the way an alarm should. Not a notification you can sleep through.

YOUR PRACTICE Build a practice from a curated library of tools — breathing patterns, timed sittings, reflections, movement, music. Arrange them into your own sequence, set how long you have, and change it whenever it stops fitting. Timers, audio and guidance appear when you summon them and get out of the way when you don't.

LOOKING BACK A calendar and journal of the days you practised, what you noted, how it felt. A softly filling ring, not a streak. Missing a day costs you nothing.

QUIET BY DESIGN No feed. No notifications begging you back. No streak to protect. Everything works offline — your practice lives on your phone first and syncs when it can.

PRIVACY No ads, no trackers, no data sold. Analytics are off until you turn them on, and anonymous when you do. Your data is stored in Frankfurt. You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings, immediately, without emailing anyone.

A NOTE ON JOINING [base] grew out of a small practice circle, but it is open to anyone. Create an account with an email address on the first screen and start straight away — there is nothing to be invited to and no code to wait for.
