Ping: A Tiny Signal is a social app for sending quick taps, pokes, or reactions to a close friend, partner, or someone far away. Each ping is answered by the other person in turn, and replies can be sent from the Lock Screen. Some iPhones show your people in the Dynamic Island, and it needs iOS 26 or later.

Ping is a tiny way to stay close to your best friend, your partner, or the person you wish lived next door. Tap to send a little hello. They ping back. That's your thing.
A LITTLE TAP GOES A LONG WAY A random 'hey.' A quiet 'miss you.' An 'I saw this and thought of you' without the whole explanation. One ping is enough.
LESS TYPING. MORE FEELING. Send a classic poke, or hold the ping button to choose a reaction. A little love, a laugh, a tiny bit dramatic. Pick the feeling that fits.
YOUR TURN, THEIR TURN You send one. They send one back. Pings take turns, so every little hello leaves room for a reply.
CLOSE, EVEN WITH YOUR PHONE LOCKED Reply from your Lock Screen or an expanded notification. On supported iPhones, your people show up in the Dynamic Island, too.
MAKE IT YOURS Invite your people with a link. Choose a photo or emoji for your profile. Watch your shared ping count grow, one small moment at a time.
