En bref

8BitsTripLog turns photos already in an iPhone or iPad library into a private travel journal, grouping them by date range and location into trips with timelines, maps, and stops. It suits people who want to revisit past journeys, with a Journey Replay that animates the route and a Passport that collects city and country stamps. One detail that stands out is that each trip keeps the local time of the places visited, so breakfast in Tokyo still reads as breakfast.

À propos

8BitsTripLog turns the photos already in your library into a private, living travel journal for iPhone and iPad.

Choose a date range and TripLog builds the trip for you. Photo dates and embedded locations are analyzed on your device. Screenshots are excluded, and real travel moments are grouped into a journey with cities, stops, transit, days, and active hours.

Relive each journey through a chronological timeline filled with photos, places, maps, notes, and personal events. Every trip keeps the local time of the places you visited, so a Tokyo breakfast is still breakfast when you read it at home.

Watch your trip come back to life with Journey Replay. The map follows your route from stop to stop, walking, driving, and flying between cities, while your photos appear as postcards and each city earns its stamp. Replay a single trip or your whole logbook.

Explore every saved journey on its own map, or view your complete travel history on the global map. Jump directly to a month or year as your logbook grows.

Build a personal travel Passport from the places you have visited. Review detected cities, confirm the ones that belong, and collect postal-style stamps for cities and countries, in typographic or photo-linocut style. Revisit earlier trips directly from a Passport entry.

Choose the look of your journal from 24 illustrated backgrounds, from sunlit coastal charts to rooftops at dusk. Match Background colors every page to suit the background you pick, or choose one of 14 named themes for every page.

Make every journal your own. Rename trips, adjust the photo range, choose a cover or key photo, exclude unwanted images, split or join photo groups, remove inferred places, and add your own places, notes, and dated events. Saved event links open in a focused in-app browser.

Enrich your trips with Apple Places and Wikipedia: real names for the landmarks and spots you visited, with short facts about them right in your timeline. Add Historical Weather to see each day's conditions where you were.

Trip Privacy puts you in control of online lookups: use On-Device Only mode, allow Apple place knowledge, or turn on enriched place context. TripLog never duplicates your photos. It keeps references to the originals in Apple Photos and stores only the journal structure and the information needed to organize each journey.

Optional iCloud sync keeps trip records and selected preferences on all your Apple devices. It syncs photo references so each device can find the originals in your existing iCloud Photos library.
