Castly Director

CASTLY DIRECTOR turns your Mac into a simple, fast and intelligent multicamera production desk.

Connect one or more cameras, create your shots in seconds and let Autopilot direct the session based on movement detected inside each scene. You can always take over manually with an instant TAKE: you remain in full control.

Each video source can contain multiple custom scenes and crops. CASTLY DIRECTOR analyzes movement within your shots and can automatically alternate between wide views, close-ups and different cameras while respecting the timing rules you define.

GENERAL DIRECTOR mode always displays the final PROGRAM — exactly what is being recorded.

You can independently configure supported camera resolutions and frame rates, choose the PROGRAM frame rate and use an audio source that is completely independent from the active camera.

Main features: • Multicamera support • Custom scenes and crops for every camera • Motion-based Autopilot • Automatic camera switching • Timed WIDE shots and scene-time control • Instant manual TAKE • General Director view with PROGRAM preview • Per-camera resolution and frame-rate controls • PROGRAM at 25, 30, 50 or 60 fps • Independent audio source with level control • H.264 video recording with audio • Three recording-quality levels • Italian and English interface • Controls designed for fast operation during recording
