Desher Kaj is a Bangla-first, non-profit volunteer platform where people in every district, upazila and city thana of Bangladesh pick real work for their own area, team up, do it step by step, and finish it with proof.

No money moves through the app. Pledges are public promises settled directly between people — there is no checkout and no payment. This is a place to do the work, not to pay for it.

WHAT YOU CAN DO - Open the interactive map of all 64 districts and see what work is under way near you. Your area turns greener as work gets done. - Pick a task you can do this week: clearing a drain, fixing a school wall, finding blood for a patient, getting ready for a cyclone. Every task says what to do, what it needs, how many people and how long. - Raise a need your area has right now: a missing person, medical help, unsafe food, a road or network down, a disaster, a safety hazard. - Join a team, chat with them, say yes to a work day, and show up. - Finish with proof: before-and-after photos checked four ways, so what is done here is really done. - Build a public trust record in your own name. People who want to work with reliable people look here first.

FROM INSIDE THE COUNTRY AND ABROAD Millions of us live overseas. Do the work that needs no travel, pledge toward a task in your own district, or lead a discussion in the family group. Your name goes on it.

HOW IT WORKS 1. Find your area on the map or search by name. 2. Pick one task, or raise a need. 3. Do it with a team, on a work day. 4. An area coordinator goes to see it, then someone outside the team gives the final sign-off. Everyone earns points, the proof opens to all, and your district turns green.
