GaspCam: Pose & Reaction

Direct the photo. Catch the real reaction.

GaspCam is a full-screen camera with poses and surprises layered on top. Pick a pose and the person you photograph sees it, big and clear, with the one part to change in red. Pick a surprise in private, press the red shutter, and GaspCam records a short silent clip of their reaction.

POSES THAT FIX REAL PROBLEMS • 33 poses drawn as friendly characters, built around what people struggle with in front of a camera: awkward hands, looking taller, a double chin, feeling camera-shy, sitting, couples, families and groups. • Filter by how many people (1, 2 or 3+) and by the problem: Hands, Taller, Double chin, Camera-shy or Funny. Or search ("sitting", "travel", "family") and keep favorites. • 22 solo poses, 7 for two people and 4 for three. • They see the pose big with a short cue, like "Thumb in pocket". You see the same words on your card, plus where to hold the phone. For couples and groups, each tip is marked with the shirt colour of the person who does it. • Touch and hold any pose to see it big, privately. • Timer: 3 seconds, or Chaos (1½, 1¾…) for unposed smiles.

SURPRISES THEY NEVER SEE COMING • 15 animated surprises based on popular prank formats: a toy spider that drops in to wave hi, a hamster that face-plants on the screen, a llama photobomb, a goose that honks at the lens, a sneeze and more. Every character is original to GaspCam. • Big News: type your own headline (up to 6 words) and it breaks on their screen in a BREAKING banner. Crude or hurtful words are blocked, and your line stays on your iPhone. • Choose by mood: Startle, Silly, Gross or Sweet. Gentle hides the jump-scares for kids and grandparents. Hide spiders & bugs hides the spider. • Touch and hold to preview a surprise privately. Your pick stays secret until you record. • Add your own text, images and GIFs too. • Recording starts first, then the surprise appears, so the clip catches the whole build-up. A REC light is visible to both of you, and clips never have sound. • Jump to the reaction and save it as a still with Grab the gasp.

IPHONE DUO On the outer screen, the person you photograph sees your pose, the countdown and the photo you just took. Surprises play there, while a small "They see" preview on the inner screen shows you exactly what they see. Requires iOS 27.1, with GaspCam full screen on the open inner display. A closed iPhone Duo works like any other iPhone.

EVERY OTHER IPHONE Tap Show them to show the pose full screen, then turn the phone back and shoot. For a surprise, GaspCam switches to the front camera and starts recording. Hand the phone over and the surprise appears after a short delay you choose.

A REAL CAMERA Full-screen or 4:3 photos, tap to focus and set exposure, pinch or tap to zoom, flash, grid, and the volume buttons or Camera Control (on supported models) as a shutter.

SAVE AND SHARE Photos and clips stay in GaspCam until you save them to Photos or share them. Make a side-by-side card: the pose and your shot, or the surprise and their reaction. Photos and clips are saved without a watermark.

EVERYTHING INCLUDED One purchase includes all 33 poses and 15 surprises. No subscription, in-app purchases, account or ads.

PRIVACY No analytics, tracking or servers, and no microphone access. Your photos, clips, imports and headlines stay on your iPhone and are never uploaded by GaspCam.
