Highcamp is the mountaineer's companion: a summit log that fills itself, peak lists to work through, an ascent planner that respects altitude, and a safety check-in for the way home.

ASCENT PLANNER • Pick a peak and get a day-by-day plan: approach, move up, rest days and summit day • Above 3000 m it raises your sleeping altitude by at most 500 m a day and adds a rest day after every 1000 m • Altitude profile of the whole trip • Gear checklists for day hikes, alpine summits, glacier climbs, winter ascents and expeditions

COME HOME SAFE • Safety check-in: set a back-by time and a contact; if you are not back, Highcamp reminds you and helps you text your position • Turnaround time with alerts, barometric altimeter and storm warning • Emergency screen with your position to read out or share

MOUNTAIN MAPS, OFFLINE • Save an area once: topo map, terrain, peaks, huts, water and trails work with no signal • Peak Finder: point the camera at the mountains to name every summit • 3D terrain with your route and a fly-over video • Routes that follow real paths, with distance, climb and walking time • Slope shading for avalanche terrain, contours and waymarked trails
