Normal-to-HDR adds a creative brightness effect; it cannot recover details lost in the original photo. HDR brightness depends on the display. HDR export supports HEIC, JPEG and PNG. Live Photo motion is available for normal SDR export; HDR export creates a still photo.

Supports HEIC, JPEG, PNG and device-compatible RAW photos up to 60 megapixels. On supported devices, develop RAW originals. Live Photos can keep motion and sound, or be exported as still photos. HDR highlights are mapped to SDR; appearance may vary between displays. JPEG uses compression and replaces transparency with white. PNG preserves transparency.

Your first 3 successful photo conversions are free. Each photo in a batch uses one conversion. Unlock unlimited conversions with a one-time lifetime purchase or an auto-renewable monthly subscription. Both plans include the same features. Cancel the monthly plan in Apple Account settings.
