Whether you skipper a charter yacht once a year, crew on a friend's sailboat or cruise your own boat every weekend, Salty keeps a clean record of where you sailed, who sailed with you and how far you went.

JOURNEY: EVERY VOYAGE ON ONE MAP • All of your voyages on a full-screen map, each route drawn in its own color • Every harbor and marina you called at is marked. Tap one to see each visit • Filter the map by year, or zoom out to all of your routes with one tap • Switch between standard, hybrid and satellite map styles

VOYAGES: YOUR DIGITAL SAILING LOG • Log each voyage with its boat, boat type, your role aboard (skipper, co-skipper or crew) and the people who sailed with you • Add one leg for each day: search for your departure and arrival harbor, then tap the map to add waypoints along your route • Salty calculates the distance in nautical miles for you, measured along your waypoints • Note motored miles and engine hours to separate sailed from motored distance • Record wind force and wind direction, plus your own notes for every leg • Search all of your voyages by title, boat or harbor

STATS: WATCH YOUR MILES ADD UP • Totals for all years or a single season: distance, voyages and days at sea • Sail vs. engine: miles under sail, sailed share, motored miles and engine hours • Records: your longest leg, your longest voyage and your average per day at sea • Harbors, boats and crew: most visited harbor, favorite boat and miles as skipper • Wind: average, prevailing and strongest wind across your logbook • A year-by-year overview of your time on the water
