RETRO-TRONIC Galley Chef is a games app that recreates a 1981-style liquid-crystal handheld. Players lift one of three pans at the right moment to toss falling fish, steak and eggs, with each dish needing two flips before it is served. It has two levels, three lives, and a high score that is saved, and it runs offline with no ads or in-app purchases. What stands out is the faithful retro look, with a grey-green screen, unlit segments, and a clock that shows the time when you are not playing.

The ship rocks and the galley never stops. Fish, steak and eggs fall towards three pans: lift the right one at the right moment to toss them. Every dish needs two flips before it is served.
A liquid-crystal handheld, just like 1981: a grey-green screen where you can still make out the unlit segments, characters that hop from one fixed spot to the next to a dry tick, a buzzer for every move, and a clock that tells the time when you are not playing.
