WHAT IT DOES: Old Reddit is dense, fast and text-first — and it was built for a 1024-pixel window. On a phone that means a shrunken desktop page with the titles cut off. Broadsheet lays it out properly: real text sizes, full-width posts, comment threads that stay readable five replies deep, and none of the sidebar furniture that has nothing to do on a phone.

It restyles the page you asked for. It does not re-host it, re-order it, or decide what you should see.

HONEST ABOUT ONE THING Reddit now asks most visitors to sign in before reading old.reddit.com. Broadsheet cannot remove that — nobody can. What it does is recognize it and tell you plainly what happened, instead of leaving you on a page that looks broken. Sign in once and it stays out of your way.
