Likut: Foraging in Israel

Likut is a foraging companion for Israel. Keep a private map of your mushroom and wild-plant spots, see when conditions look good, and learn what grows where.

• Private spots map. Save spots with photos, notes and species. Only you can see them. • Conditions score. Every mushroom spot gets a 0-100 score from recent rain, temperature and the species' season. Turn on alerts and hear when a spot looks good. • Species guide. 781 mushrooms and over 3,000 wild plants of Israel, with seasons, edibility and toxic look-alikes side by side. • Identify. Answer a few questions about the cap, gills, stem and habitat to narrow down the candidates. • Trips and journal. Record your walks and log what you harvested. • Works offline. Download the map of Israel and the species photos before you head out. • Hebrew and English.

Safety first: never eat a wild mushroom because an app suggested it. Likut helps you learn and keep notes; it does not replace an expert. Suspected poisoning: call MDA 101 or the Poison Information Center 04-7771900.

Your data stays yours: spots are private to your account, and you can delete your account and all its data from inside the app.
