FlySide

FlySide is your offline companion for exploring the world from an airplane window. Before takeoff, choose your route, download the offline map, and select which side of the aircraft you are sitting on. During the flight, FlySide can use your phone’s location to show your position on the map when a usable signal is available. If the signal is temporarily lost, the app can clearly show a short estimated position instead of presenting it as a live measurement. Discover cities, landmarks and interesting places along your journey, with content adapted for Kids, Teens and Adults. Open the Cockpit for phone-based flight information such as ground speed, phone-reported altitude, course over ground and derived motion values. Highlights: • Offline route maps for use during the flight • Live phone location when available • Clearly labelled estimated position during short signal gaps • Seat-side selection for more relevant discoveries • Hundreds of places in the built-in atlas • Route-based stories and photos • Kids, Teen and Adult reading modes • Cockpit-style flight data view • Separate demo mode for exploring FlySide before flying FlySide is designed for passengers and entertainment. It is not an aviation navigation instrument, and displayed data should not be used for operational or safety-critical decisions.`
