Silu: Embroidery Editor

Make your embroidery designs your own with Silu. Open JEF files, create Korean and English lettering, and edit your designs in a workspace that stays on your device.

CREATE LETTERING Enter Korean or English text and numbers. Choose fill or outline stitches, letter height, spacing, thread color and a hoop. Reopen Silu lettering projects to edit the original text.

EDIT JEF DESIGNS Move, resize, rotate or mirror the whole design. Change Janome thread colors, use Undo and Redo, and choose a hoop while editing. See dimensions, stitch counts and chronological color blocks.

PREVIEW THE SEQUENCE Replay stitches in order and inspect color changes. Canvas visibility controls help you inspect the preview.

SAVE AND SHARE Keep editable projects on your device. Export a JEF file for a compatible embroidery-machine workflow, or save a PNG preview with a white, dark or transparent background. Use your device’s file-saving and sharing controls.

YOUR WORKSPACE No account, ads or in-app purchases. Interfaces in 34 languages, light and dark appearances, and optional usage statistics that are off by default. Editing and lettering generation work offline.

Silu edits stitch data. Resizing keeps the stitch count and does not recalculate density. Hiding colors affects the preview only. Machine and hoop support depend on your model; transfer exported files using your machine’s supported USB or computer workflow. Silu does not connect wirelessly to machines or convert arbitrary images into embroidery. Test new lettering and edited designs with your intended fabric, thread and stabilizer before production sewing.
