En bref

PlanIt Earth: VR Photo Planner is a photo-video app for landscape, travel, night, and astrophotography planning. It shows a photorealistic VR view of real terrain with the Sun, Moon, Milky Way, and stars placed where they will appear, and it works offline once an area is preloaded. The app stands out for letting users preview light and framing on location before they travel.

À propos

For landscape, travel, nature, cityscape, night, time-lapse, star-trail, Milky Way and astro photographers: PlanIt Earth builds on everything we learned from PlanIt Pro and takes previsualization to a whole new level.

Ansel Adams called it previsualization — imagining the final print before the shot is ever taken. Seeing a scene before you travel to it greatly increases the chance of coming home with the photo you wanted. PlanIt Earth is built around that one idea: see the shot before you go.

What sets it apart is the photorealistic VR viewfinder. Instead of reading numbers on a map, you stand at your camera position and see the real terrain — built from satellite imagery and elevation data — with the Sun, Moon, Milky Way, stars, clouds, 3D markers and your framing exactly where they will be. Scrub time and watch light and shadows move through your composition.

There isn't always a signal out in the field. Preload offline elevation, maps and markers for your area and keep scouting, previewing and planning entirely offline.

Plan the light. Preview the scene. Arrive ready.
