RollSketch: Retro Doodle Toy

Turn two knobs. Draw one line. No undo. The classic sketch toy you grew up with is back — on iPhone and iPad. Perfect for killing time, unwinding, or a few minutes of focused, mindful drawing.

Turn the left roller to move the pen horizontally and the right roller to move it vertically. Every curve is a small negotiation between two hands. It is harder than it looks, and that is exactly the point.

FEATURES

Two-roller drawing Steer the pen with two independent rollers, just like the toy. Adjust the sensitivity of each roller until it feels right in your hands.

Save and resume Save a sketch at any time and pick it up again later. Keep as many drawings as you like, overwrite an existing one, or start fresh.

Time-lapse recording Every stroke is recorded. Play your drawing back from the first line to the last, adjust the playback speed, and export it as a GIF to share.

Make it yours Choose from a set of body themes and roller skins, or set your own custom colors. Adjust dot size and pen sensitivity to match your drawing style.

Portrait and landscape Draw the way you like to hold your device.

Optional account Sign in with Apple or Google to back up your sketches to the cloud and keep them across devices. Everything core to the app — drawing, saving locally, settings, and time-lapse — works without an account.

Available in 20 languages English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, Swedish, Polish, Ukrainian, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian.
