Vintage is a film camera you build yourself. Pick a body, put on a lens, load a film and shoot — the viewfinder shows the result live, so what you see is what you get.

13 BODIES • A disposable with flash, auto point-and-shoots, a half-frame camera that fits 72 shots on a roll, and a panorama disposable. • A manual SLR and a rangefinder with shutter speed and aperture dials and a light meter. • A twin-lens reflex with a mirrored finder, a medium format SLR, a plastic toy camera, a 4-lens action camera, a 110 pocket camera and an instant camera.

67 LENSES • Wide, standard, portrait and tele lenses built from measured data of real classic lenses: their distortion, color fringing and darker corners. • Toy, soft, fisheye and disposable effect lenses.

27 FILMS • Color negative, slide and cinema films, six black-and-white films and three instant formats. • Colors come from film physics data, with grain and halation for each film. • Exposure works like the real camera: a disposable gets dark in dim rooms unless you use the flash. You can turn this off.

A CAMERA THAT FEELS REAL • A frame counter on every body; when the roll ends, a new one goes in. • Date stamp ('98 or today), light leaks, timer, flash and grid lines. • Turn your phone for a landscape layout. Tap the viewfinder to make it bigger. • Hold the shutter to record video with the same look. • Add the look to photos you already took.

NO AI, NO ACCOUNT Vintage never changes your face or body. There is no sign-up and no login. Your photos stay on your phone: they go to the album in the app and, if you like, to your photo library.
